- Scope & content
- Letter: forwarding Algonquin and Nipissing Petition of Sept. 2, 1820, requesting it be put before Governor Dalhousie. Advises that Petition to be accompanied by a map of the lands they request to have granted to them but writer adds that he feels they would be satisfied with that part described near Lake Nipissing. Commends these Indians for their untiring service in the late Revolutionary and American Wars, which he observed since his arrival in June 1776.
