Owing to the fact that your cheque for the additional $2000.00 was only received by me on the 8th instant, the interest on $7000.00 will be computed from the 1st day of May,1941, until the 8th day of September, 1941 on $7000.00 and from the 8th day of September, 1941 to the 1st day of November, 1941 on $9000.00. The balance of the principal sum of $9000.00 will become due and payable on the 1st day of May, 1951.This mortgage contains a clause giving the mortgagors the right and privilege of prepaying the whole of the said principal sum upon the payment of the interest accrued at the date of such payment.I further enclose you Sheriff's certificate No.502 issued by the Sheriff of the County of Carleton, showing that there have been no judgments or executions filed with the Sheriff against Oscar Petigorsky, Joseph Petigorsky and Leon Petigorsky, up to and of the 8th day of September, 1941, at 3.15 P.M.. You will notice I paid $3.00 for this certificate in order to make sure there were no judgments or executions since the last mortgage was registered.I also searched in the Registry Office and examined the abstract and find no entries have been made since I registered your previous mortgage Number 235013 for $7000.00.Read automatically; may contain mistakes.
