- Scope & content
- The New Canadians Club published a newspaper called The New Life for its members, who were young adult survivors of the Holocaust. This excerpt from July 1948 shows some of the difficulties that the club's leadership experienced as it tried to establish itself after its initial success in 1947 and early 1948. A letter from the editor points to the few written contributions during the summer months. The executive hopes readers will appreciate the hard work they are doing to organize activities for the group. Courtesy of Jewish Public Library, JewCan boxes, Institutions - YM-YWHA.
