- Scope & content
- A letter from David Lewis, CCF candidate, to the electors of Cartier Riding, ca. 1943. The letter stresses the need to build a better world after the victory of WWII through a fair distribution of labour, resources and welfare to all. It also celebrates the international cooperation between the four great powers Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union and China: “We must never again tolerate the distrust and suspicious toward Soviet Russia that existed before the war.” Courtesy of ADCJA.
