- 3 copies of an article entitled "Island Galaxies". All copies reprinted from Discovery, Vol. IX, No. 99, March, 1928. Two copies have inscriptions, sent as gifts from Allie Vibert Douglas - one to G.V.D. (George Vibert Douglas), the other to O.M.C.D. (Olga Margaret Crichton Douglas, George's wife and Allie Vibert Douglas' sister-in-law). The third copy was printed for the Smithsonian Report for 1928.
